The flag of Faralina

The current flag of Faralina was created by Richard Willow-Rodgers and Marie Rodgers-Willow in 1951 as the country was progressing towards becoming a republic. It was officially adopted in 1953 as the official flag of the country.
The yellow background symbolizes optimism and resilience, as those have been common traits in the Faralinian People. The 10 stars with a red background represent the 10 historical regions of Faralina, and the blood spilled in every war fought in the country's soil. The coat of arms is a tie-in with the history of the country, as it was the first symbol of independence from its bigger and more powerful neighbors in the 10th century.

The Coat of Arms of Faralina

The Coat of Arms of Faralina proudly display a blue fox in a golden background with red accents; while the ladder two have different meaning depending of who you ask, the blue fox represents kindness and selfishness, rooted in The Leyend of the Blue Fox, a story as old as the independent Faralina is.
Leyend says, that in the vast forests of Faralina, a mystical fox with a beautiful blue fur lived, and its job was to guide the children who got lost in the laberynths of trees back to their communities, while protecting them the hungry predators that lurked behind the leaves. The first drafts and early ideas popped up in the late 10th century, as the country's independence move gained traction, in 1046 once the country gained absolute independence, the coat of arms as we know it was born, and in the last thousand years it has udergone very small changes. Since 1046, the Coat of Arms had been the official banner of the country until 1773, where the country adopted it's first flag, know in modern times as The Mistress Flag.
